Focal Adhesion Network Motifs
Network motifs are small recurring topological patterns of connectivity involving several components and interations. Indentification and visualization of network motifs can be achieved with mfinder and mDraw, computer programs developed by Alon Laboratory. A version of the FA network that is ready for analysis by mfinder can be downloaded from here. On this site, five types of network motifs are visualized: Scaffolds, 3-node feedforward loops, 3-node feedbackloops, 4-node feedforward loops, 4-node feedbackloops, and bifans. Bifan network motifs are circuits where two upstream regulators cross-regulates two downstream components.
